the vision

All around us we see families under stress or torn apart by arguments, misunderstanding and divorce

People sometimes go through their entire lives never having truly lived.

We believe that a wow marriage is available to every couple. It is our goal to spread the word and help wherever we can for other's to experience what we have. We seek to fulfill this through sharing our story in person, through distributed resources and recommended books, and in workshops.

To become better equipped and more effective in this task we are starting a network of others with similar vision and convictions. (see the contact page to get in touch)

the leaders

John & Jill Enns head wow|marriages. John and Jill have been married for 21 years and have four children, three boys and a girl, ages 11 to 18. The Enns family has attended the Langley Vineyard for thirteen years and John & Jill have served as homegroup leaders for more than ten.

Both John and Jill accepted Christ when they were children. Neither have received post-secondary education in the area of family or marriage counselling, but draw from their experiences of healing within their own marriage and through others' they have known over the years.

John and Jill, self employed, serve as Marriage Coaches as volunteers at friends:Langley Vineyard. Experiencing the fulness God has designed into the husband/wife relationship is their joy, and they love to share from it and encourage everyone.

Our approach in face to face counselling.

Picture a labour coach in a delivery room that helps the birthing woman . The coach can't take her pain away or diminish the effort she needs to exert.

Instead the coach helps her to keep focused and not panic, to breathe correctly and to keep her hope and courage up until she sees the fruit of all her pain and labour.

That's what we do with marriages.

We believe that the first years do not have to be rocky and full of mistakes. A good foundation for a marriage and an awareness of potential pitfalls and how to address them can avoid a rocky start and make a marriage wow right from the beginning.
